Research Assistant

Lewis graduated with honours in biomedical science from the University of Queensland in 2021 majoring in pharmacology. He is a peptide chemist interested in creating small, stable forms of naturally occurring peptides and proteins for therapeutic and biotechnological use. He also focusses on uncovering the intricacies of peptide membrane permeability, and rational design of proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs). Outside of the lab he spends his time making music, and also getting frustrated at the music that he makes.
